The same artistic practice can take different forms. We begin with the occasion, the audience and the experience we want to create together.
Live format
Live microscopy
Matter changes live under the microscope, in dialogue with music and the room. Microscopic processes become images that unfold in the moment, from concert stages to immersive domes.
Concerts, openings and cultural programmes
The performers, duration, projection environment and technical responsibilities are developed around the occasion.
- The encounter
- Liquid boundaries shift. Pigments drift and structures form in real time. Magnification opens these small changes into a landscape that can be shared by an entire room.
- The approach
- We prepare the physical conditions and guide the image while leaving room for chance. Changes in the liquid or light introduce movements that cannot be repeated in exactly the same way.
Spatial format
Spatial installations
Image, light and sound shape a space to enter, explore and spend time in. We translate microscopic worlds into environments that respond to the conditions of a place.
Exhibitions, festivals and exhibition stands
The artistic concept, spatial arrangement and technical setup are developed together for the site and its audience.
- The encounter
- Images take on a relationship with the place around them. In a forest, circular projection surfaces sit between the trees; in a dome, the microscopic image surrounds the audience.
- In development
- Our spatial studies explore curved LED walls, suspended image layers and planted islands with places to pause. These concepts make room for concentrated viewing and conversation within the same environment.

Immersive dining
Menus, microscopy and atmosphere unfold together. We are exploring an experience in which each course could open a new visual chapter, with image, sound, lighting and table setting following the rhythm of the menu.
Private dinners, launches and hosted gatherings
An experience beyond the plate, with space for conversation, curiosity and shared attention. This format is in development; the menu, setting and production scope would be conceived together.
- The encounter
- Each course could open a new visual chapter. Taste and texture would meet microscopic imagery, sound and light, with the rhythm of the menu shaping the atmosphere around the table.
- The collaboration
- Clara Rupp’s attention to ingredients meets our exploration of matter in motion. We are developing a shared sensory language, with menu, visuals and setting conceived together.
Moving-image format
Film & moving image
Microscopic footage becomes films and moving-image pieces, shaped for music, screens and space. A material study can grow into a cinematic narrative or a visual language that moves with sound.
Music videos, installations and digital releases
We develop the approach to image-making, composition and the final edit around the work and its channels.
- The encounter
- A microscopic process becomes a moving-image piece for music, screens or space. The image can hold close attention on its own or enter a dialogue with a musician’s work.
- The approach
- Material studies provide the starting point. We develop the composition and edit for the work’s context, connecting the movement within the image with the rhythm and character of its presentation.
Art direction across media
Campaign identities
We build a campaign’s visual identity around a shared artistic idea. Microscopic imagery connects artwork, graphic design and film, giving every touchpoint a recognisable character.
Key visuals, print, social media and motion
Art direction, artwork, graphic design and moving image can form one visual language for launches, cultural programmes and communication campaigns. Scope and deliverables are developed together.
- The visual idea
- An original microscopic image can carry a campaign across a printed piece, a moving image and a digital layout. Its material character gives the different applications a shared point of recognition.
- The approach
- Art direction establishes the concept, mood and visual language. Artwork and graphic design shape key visuals and layouts; film and motion adapt the idea to the campaign’s channels.
Prints / Matter Panoramas in development
Prints & Matter Panoramas
From a single print to a panoramic work, microscopic detail takes on an architectural scale. Motif, colour and scale become part of the atmosphere of places where people meet, work and spend time.
Interiors, workplaces and hospitality
Matter Panoramas is a project in development in the studio. We stitch microscopic captures into expansive artworks. The interior applications in our portfolio are concept images exploring how these works could inhabit a room.

- A microscopic artwork can take a quieter, lasting form. Motif, colour and scale enter a relationship with the materials, light and character of a room.
- In development
- Matter Panoramas joins microscopic captures into expansive artworks. The studio studies how intimate material detail can reach architectural scale, with interior concepts exploring possible settings for the work.
