A Collaboration Across Formats

The collaboration with Pascal Schumacher brought Magnificent Matter’s microscopic image world into live performance, moving image and release artwork. Rather than treating those formats as separate outputs, the work established one visual language around the music.

Immersive Visuals for the Stage

Magnificent Matter created a complete set of immersive visuals for Pascal Schumacher’s live performances. Abstract and cosmic structures observed through the microscope became a spatial layer around the concerts, connecting microcosmic detail with the scale and atmosphere of the stage.

By This River

For Pascal Schumacher’s single “By This River”, a composition by Brian Eno, Magnificent Matter directed the official music video and created the cover artwork. Film, live visuals and artwork were conceived as parts of the same visual world.

An Ongoing Visual Collaboration

A newer Magnificent Matter overview also documents later media-production material with Pascal Schumacher. Both source pages now live in one Case, preserving the collaboration as a connected body of work while the exact production dates, final line-by-line credits and media clearances remain available for internal review.
