Julian Zyklus developed Water Piano around the meeting of prepared piano, synthesizers, looped samples and aquatic sound design. Digital and analogue modular delays were used to evoke the movement and spatial character of water.

Magnificent Matter’s Role

The archived collaboration page explicitly credits Magnificent Matter with directing a video for the Water Piano project. The visual work accompanied music shaped by classical piano influences and underwater sonic textures.
